Our Story

Tre Enne is a family run business with a combined 35+ years of lutherie, woodworking, engineering, and computer science experience. Most of all we share a strong passion for music. The name Tre Enne means “three N’s” loosely translated in Italian and represents my three sons and the first letter of our last name, they are the inspiration for all that we do!

We’re located in northern San Diego county and have a fully equipped workshop. Our instruments are hand-crafted and additionally we utilize digital tools such as CNC machines that help us improve the quality, productivity and repeatability of our products. We take pride in using sustainable environmentally safe materials and we utilize locally sourced resources whenever possible.

Tre Enne maintains strong ties to the local community, we work with and support several non-profit organizations to promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) for students, music appreciation for all ages, and woodworking for hobbyists.
